Melaperuma 3 invites you to immerse yourself in the vibrant traditions of Kerala through a series of incredible cultural performances. This year’s highlights include:
- Live Musical Performance: Renowned playback singer M.G. Sreekumar, joined by vocalists Shikha Prabhakaran and Disha Prakash, finalists of Idea Star Singer.

- Bharatanatyam Performance: Acclaimed actress Navya Nair makes her UK debut, captivating Indian classical dance enthusiasts.

- Flute Performance: Soulful music by the talented flutist Rajesh Cherthala, credited with over 1,000 film songs.

- Chenda Melam: Maestro Mattannur Sankarankutty Marar, with his sons Sreekanth and Sreeraj, will perform Pandi and Panchari Melam, accompanied by 300 students from Navadhara School of Music, along with Thayambaka and Chenda fusion.

Chenda Melam
Melaperuma 3 will showcase the mesmerizing Chenda Melam, the rhythm that defines Kerala’s cultural heartbeat. Led by the legendary Mattannur Sankarankutty Marar and his sons Sreekanth and Sreeraj, this grand performance will include Pandi Melam, Panchari Melam, and captivating Chenda Fusion, featuring nearly 300 students of Navadhara School of Music. Experience the powerful beats and timeless traditions that will bring the true spirit of Kerala to life.
Live Musical Performance
One of the main highlights of Melaperuma 3 will be the Live Musical Performance by the legendary playback singer M.G. Sreekumar, one of the finest voices in Indian cinema. He will be joined by the immensely talented vocalists Shikha Prabhakaran and Disha Prakash, finalists of the popular television show Idea Star Singer. Together, they will deliver a soulful and unforgettable performance that will captivate the audience and bring the magic of Indian music to life
Dance Performance
Melaperuma 3 is honoured to host the renowned actress and accomplished dancer Navya Nair in her UK debut Bharatanatyam performance. Known for her grace and artistry, Navya has captivated audiences across the globe with her exceptional talent. This performance is a rare opportunity for Indian classical dance enthusiasts to witness the elegance and beauty of one of Kerala’s most celebrated performers, making it a highlight of this cultural extravaganza.
Flute Performance
Melaperuma 3 proudly presents a soulful Flute Performance by the exceptionally talented Rajesh Cherthala, a celebrated flutist with over 1,000 film songs to his credit. Known for his mastery of India’s most ancient and melodious wind instrument, Rajesh debuted in the movie Rain Rain Come Again. His enchanting melodies are sure to create a serene and unforgettable experience for the audience, adding a unique charm to the event.
