Sargamelam Stevenage

SARGAM, Stevenage Malayalee Association represents our successful, auspicious existence of more than 18 years in Stevenage. ”Sargam” is an unbiased non-profit Organisation of Keralites residing in and around Stevenage. As we all know unity is our strength with added integrity, we serve our community wholeheartedly. Our aim is to unite and boost the cultural heritage of Kerala broadly, promote and uplift the cultural and artistic values among our community in Stevenage area. We commemorate all our regional cultural festivals as a unique input to our integration with British cultural diversity. Also give prime importance to sports and other recreational activities to help us perfect our daily life.

The new lessons were started during the month of July 2023 where as we had another group (Sargathalam) still live but not been practising much. Once Sargamelam group come up to a position to perform, we hope to merge these two groups and to have a good team. Sargamelam is conducted and managed by the Malayalee Association of Stevenage (SARGAM) with two lessons every month. We would need to attract more youngsters to this group would request everyone’s help if anyone from our region looking to join.
