The Malayalee Association of the U.K. (M.A.U.K.) is a charity organisation based in Newham, East London. From supplementary and cultural classes to elders day centre and lunch club, we provide a diverse range of services and activities for the local community, from Kerala House, our centre in Manor Park and Online. We have a pedigreed record of serving communities in Newham and surroundings since 1974.

 As Navadhara School Of Music’s first UK centre, this facility is an important milestone.

M.A.U.K. is also the first and one of the largest and leading Malayalee community organisations in the U.K. The history of M.A.U.K. can be traced back to Shri V K Krishna Menon during his student days in London and to the Kerala Samajam of the 1960s. M.A.U.K. was first registered in 1974 as a friendly society and is currently a charity (No.1102653) and a company limited by guarantee (No. 4934084). M.A.U.K. is also registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

The main objectives of M.A.U.K. are:

• Represent the Malayalee Community in the U.K.
• Work for the social, welfare, and educational advancement of U.K. Malayalee’s
• Promote Kerala, its arts, culture, and heritage
• Support charitable causes in the U.K. and India
