Thaalam – Colchester, based at Shrub End Community Centre, Boadicea Way, Colchester CO2 9BG, is a thriving Chenda Melam learning and performance group under Navadhara School of Music. We take pride in our diverse community, welcoming students from various age groups, genders, and religious backgrounds, all coming together to learn and celebrate this beautiful percussion art.

We offer training for:

• Children (10+), Teens (13-18), Adults (18+), and Ladies
• Younger children (below 10) also have opportunities to engage in learning

Sessions take place every 1st and 3rd Monday from 7 PM to 9 PM, providing structured learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.
